[Mristudio-users] fiber tracking with parcellation map

Thanks a lot.

But how can I load the parcellation map if try to draw ROI for fiber selection. I use the FA and eigenvector_0 to do the fiber tracking. After that, I load the parcellation map through the 'ROI-operation' tab. But I seems that the format of map is not matched.

If you saved FA + eigenvectors, you don't need a tensor image.
If you don't have FA + eigenvectors, you can load a tensor image, from which FA and eigvenvectors are recreated.

The purpose of DiffeoMap is to warp the parcellation map to the subject images. For the accurate warping, both the subject and atlas are better skull stripped as you did. Once the parcellation maps are brought to subject images, the subject images do not have to be skull stripped for fiber tracking.

Dear DTIstudio, ROIeditor, and DiffeoMap users,

I aim to do the fiber tracking using DTIstudio. In order to target the ROI, I decide to use the parcellation map. So I used ROIeditor and DiffeoMap to operate the skull stripping, resampling, linear normalization and non-linear normalization process. Now I have come across a difficulty when it comes to the last step. It said there are two choices to do the fiber tracking: one is using principal vector and FA map, and the other is using tensor images. Does it mean that I should do all the skull stripping, resampling, linear normalization and non-linear normalization for the tensor images or eigenvector-0 and FA?

Hope to get your reply. Thanks.
