[Mristudio-users] orientation and direction!

Hi DTI experts
This might be a basic question; but I wonder how orientation and direction
are different in DTI. My protocol says that we uses "30 different
directions" to acquire DTI gradients along "six different orientations" and
then we have three colors to code the directions of diffusion. Can anyone
kindly explain it please!
