Hi,      I have tried Hmap and Kmap both, the distortion is more severe when using Hmap...      In fact I used lddmm single channel registration before, the image was skull-skipped at that time, and the result is good...      This time my image was not skull-skipped, may this be the reason?..I will also try to do both skull-skipped and not skull-skipped case to have a check..

Maybe you used Hmap instead of Kmap.
