Dear experts,

Thank you for your prompt response.

In my case, I want to know the quantitative metric mapping information in some specific regions.

Can I get more information about the LDDMMMatrix.dat? Can I use Matlab or ImageJ to load LDDMMMatrix.dat? If so, how?

Best regards,
Shangbin

The LDDMMatrix.dat file gives the metric mapping information. You can apply this mapping file to an image by clicking "Load Transformation Matrix" and selecting "LDDMM Matrix (Raw Data)".

Subject: [Mristudio-users] How to use the output matrix of LDDMM from DiffeoMap (resend without the attached file)

Dear experts,

Many thanks for your help in DiffeoMap. I have got to know how to use the output matrix of Landmark-based Affine registration.

Today, I did 16 Landmark-based LDDMM. The parameters were 3D downsample X:2, Y:2, Z:2 with some other default parameters. I noticed two files (LDDMMMatrix.dat and LDDMMMatrix.hdr) had been saved in my folder. In my case, the template and the subject 3D images are both 256x256x512 (~32 MB). But the output data LDDMMMatrix.dat are about 393 MB. Here I have two questions:

1) What is the content inside the LDDMMMatrix.dat?
2) How to use the LDDMMmatrix.dat?

Best regards,
Shangbin

You can load this matrix to DiffoeMap and apply it to the image you loaded.

The first 3 rows is the 3x3 rotation matrix. The last row is the translation vector.

Dear experts,

I am using DiffeoMap for 3D registration. I have done markers-based affine registration with satisfying result. But I cannot understant the meaning of the output matrix which is 4x3 array. Could you tell me some details on this matrix? Or how to use the matrix to do affine transformation?

Best regards,
Shangbin
