[Mristudio-users] mouse vs. crosshairs

I've noticed that the location of the mouse in pixels and the location
of the crosshairs have opposite origins in the x and z directions.

The mouse runs from left (0) to right (max) while the crosshairs run
in the opposite direction. Similarly the mouse is 0 at the top of the
image, while the crosshairs are 0 at the bottom. Is there a reason for
this or could it be fixed?
