Hi Darren,<div><br></div><div>I think Hangyi can elaborate this issue better than me, but in my understanding, this is a very tricky issue.</div><div>For the image matrix, the origin of the coordinates are dynamically changed depending on Axial, Sagittal, Coronal, / A(nterior)->P(osterior), P->A / Phase-encode - Frequency-encode/etc. On the other hand, on the DtiStudio display, the brain always have to be upright in the Axial (top right) and Coronal (bottom right) and "Left is Anterior" in the Sagittal view (bottom left), no matter what is the image acquisition parameters (matrix orientation and origin location) are. The reason you find two ways of matrix representation is; one is the display coordinates (e.g. in the Axial view, right lower corner is [0, 0]) and the other is the image matrix coordinates. We can't make them identical.</div>
