Subject: [Announcements] New Release
Message-ID: <000001cae0eb$6fc55460$4f4ffd20$@jhu.edu>
Dear DtiStudio Users;
We want to announce a new version of DtiStudio, V3.0.2, which is now
available for download from www.mristudio.org.
You can find the change log at https://www.mristudio.org/wiki/changelog.
Recently, we've been receiving multiple inquiries about how we can assess
image quality of diffusion images, which often suffer from co-registration
errors, image corruption, and eddy current.
There are many tools to correct them but it is still difficult to judge when
we need them and how to tell the correction efficacy.
I wrote a small description regarding these issues and posted at
https://www.mristudio.org/wiki/changelog/dtistudio-3.0.2. The file name is
"DtiStudioUpdate.doc" and there are 5 associated PowerPoint files. I hope
this will help answering some of the questions.
Sincerely,
Susumu Mori

Subject: [Announcements] MriStudio Discussion Session: A Conference in Hawaii
Message-ID:
Dear MriStudio Users;
As you might already know, there will be a conference, "New Horizon in
Human Brain Imaging: A Focus on Brain Network and Connectivity", which
will be held on 12/1-3 in Turtle Bay, Hawaii
(http://www.pacificrimneuroimaging.net/).
I will be attending this conference and the organizer is kind enough
to give us a room at noon time on 12/2. This is not long enough to
provide a comprehensive tutorials on DtiStudio/DiffeoMap/RoiEditor,
but I want to have an informal round-the-table discussion session
about anything related to DTI, image analysis, and our programs. If
you wish, you can send me questions which you want me to cover.
The conference will cover a broad range of latest image-based brain
research and it should be a good opportunity to enrich your knowledge
in this field. I hope our little session will further enhance your
experience in Turtle Bay. Please come by if you are attending this conference.
Sincerely,
Susumu Mori
